What about sending army to China or any countries we want to? is tony crazy, he can go to there any time he likes, but not Australian army.

NO FORCES

We cannot just barge into any country because we do not like what is happening there . It is their country as Australia is ours and we have to respect that as much as we do not like it . We can only watch and wait to help , we cannot keep sending aid that is stolen by the military , and make them richer than they are.The people on the ground do not get the benefit.This is a waiting game there is nothing else to be done.

preparing and getting a piece of real estate in Irrawaddy to establish NGOs help the needy -distribution centres ?..has he taken too much beer before the ABC interview ?.. asking Bush to open a new front when he can hardly clean up the existing ones?..the French ? i doubt they have forgotten fully Dien Bien Phu ! even the memory brings goose pimples!Germans and Danes ? they hardly know Burma let alone Myanmar..and the British ?..they havenot even got over their “losses” here and their River Kwai experience..so that ofcourse leaves the Aussies themselves..but they couldnot even impress on the little island of East Timor so close to home recently let alone facing a more hardened lot thousands of miles away requiring heightened logistics..and in the last analysis the populace suffer more due to revenge atrocities by the Junta!..and will China allow untrustworhy Westerners in its rear ?..please donot look at us.. we also have numerous problems to solve ..why not do the Asean way and at least get there half way rather than confrontational..have another beer mate ..ABC may call you again..!

this is a natural disaster, everyone should be digging into it and ensure that people are saved from the follow on of not receiving water and food. If there is a government that is not willing to give these people any chance of of surviving than I do support military intervention...this is no “smoking gun” this is helping people who have been struck by disaster....nothing of their own doing.
Shame on you, who want to deny these poor people the possibility of living!!!

The condition in Burma is extremely bad now and countless Burmese villagers and peasants will die if the Junta succeed in preventing aid from reaching them. Is this what we want? The outside world have to make sure this doesn’t happen in Burma. The Chinese not only let foreign aid into China, they sent troops in to help.
