ULAN BATOR, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia will hold its annual Innovation Week online from May 17 to May 23, the country's Ministry of Education and Science said Friday.
The seventh edition of the event is co-organized by the Mongolian Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, several major universities, other government agencies and non-governmental organizations, according to the event's official Facebook account.
The event aims to introduce innovation activities to the public, disseminate innovative ideas, new products and services, and expand public-private partnerships and cooperation in this area, it added.
Within the framework of the event, numerous activities will also be conducted, such as an exhibition of innovative products, discussions about innovation, and a contest to award innovative ideas and projects for business.
Mongolia has shifted major events to online sessions since last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
